This joint webinar by Makan & 7amleh provides an overview of 7amleh’s report publication, ‘Gaza Telecommunications Infrastructure: Assessment of Damages and Humanitarian Impact’. This session will:

• Explain what telecommunications and digital rights are, and what their importance to the Palestinian struggle is
  
• Explore how Israel weaponises repeated telecommunications blackouts as a method to silence and isolate Palestinians in Gaza
  
• Highlight how the urgent need to rebuild Gaza’s communications infrastructure is central to achieving digital rights and justice
