Reframing Palestine with Reform Jews for Justice

August 22 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm

In this training we delve into the key frameworks and concepts through which the Palestinian struggle can be understood, such as settler-colonialism, occupation, apartheid, peace process, Nakba, and more.

We  will focus on providing grassroots organisers in the USA who are working with Reform Jews for Justice the ability to articulate the Nakba as a structure, not an event, understand the reality of Palestinian fragmentation, and how this a result of the continuing Nakba and to equip them with the educational tools needed to be able to practice meaningful solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for liberation. The training will provide an overarching history of settler colonialism in Palestine, the Nakba and the limits and advantages of using the occupation and apartheid frameworks.
